Utah State University’s (USU) Fathers Incarcerated Re-entry Education (FIRE) project is designed for adult incarcerated fathers (also known as justice-involved fathers), a population that has been growing substantially in the state of Utah.

Specifically, whereas the national average of prison population has fallen by 1.2 percent, incarceration in Utah has increased by 4.3 percent.
